Flights

If your travel request is not urgent (travelling in 12 hours or more), please email the Corporate Traveller team at TELUS1@corporatetraveller.ca and an agent will call you during business hours 8:30am – 6pm PST.
Yes, we have included one checked bag with your airfare. Any additional checked bags are at your expense.
Most attendees are on group flight bookings which have assigned seats. To confirm whether this is the case for your ticket, please see your itinerary for your booking reference and check with the airline directly.
Once your registration has been submitted, Corporate Traveller will reach out to discuss your travel details within five business days.

Transportation

Shuttles will be arranged to/from the Vancouver Airport (YVR) on approved travel dates.
If you are extending your stay for business reasons, please refer to your business unit’s travel expense policy and/or speak with your leader. If you are extending your stay for personal reasons, you will be responsible for securing and covering the cost of transportation to/from the airport.
Team members are expected to travel on the pre-arranged shuttle buses. If you miss any of the scheduled shuttles, please consider travelling on the Canada Line which is part of Vancouver’s SkyTrain. It’s only a 30 minute ride between the airport and downtown Vancouver.
At the airport, the Canada Line station is located on Level 3. Walk toward the Link Building (located between the International and Domestic Terminal), and follow the signs marked Canada Line.
If you are based in the Vancouver area, please consider taking public transportation. If that’s not possible, park at your hotel or one of the nearby pay parking lots. Parking expenses during the Sales Summit will be reimbursed. Please consider carpooling when possible.
For other questions related to parking, please refer to your business unit’s travel expense policy and/or speak with your leader.

Hotels

Team members will be staying at one of five hotel properties: Fairmont Waterfront, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Fairmont Pacific Rim, Sheraton Wall Centre and Pan Pacific Hotel.
Hotels will be assigned in the weeks leading up to the event and will be noted in the Vfairs event app.
Check-in is at 4 pm, and check out is at 11 am. When you arrive at the airport in Vancouver you will receive a personalized luggage tag that indicates your name and the hotel you are staying at. If you arrive at your hotel before 4 pm, your luggage will be stored and delivered to your room when it’s ready.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests to change hotels. We have selected some of the best hotels in Vancouver to host team members and are confident you’ll be pleased with your accommodations.
We will have a continuous shuttle running from each of these hotels to the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Alternatively, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is a 12-15 minute walk to the Vancouver Convention Centre, and the Sheraton Wall Centre is a 20 minute walk to the Vancouver Convention Centre. Please refer to Google maps for directions.
Yes - if your leader has approved to extend your stay for business purposes, the TELUS Sales Summit Events team will book your accommodations for the additional approved travel dates.
If team members are extending for personal reasons and would like to extend their hotel reservation to reflect their additional nights, please indicate this in your registration. If you have not indicated you need your hotel extended for your personal stay, we will only reserve your hotel room for your approved summit dates.

Reminder the additional hotel nights will be paid for personally.

General event questions

Our main venue is the Vancouver Convention Centre (1055 Canada Place). This is where the majority of your time will be spent, including on January 28 (Partner Fair), and January 29 (all-day plenary and breakout sessions, and Premiere and Presidents Club Celebration).
At this time, we are at full capacity and unable to accommodate these requests. If you have an extenuating circumstance or business-impacting request, please contact telussalessummit@telus.com
If you are no longer able to attend, please email telus2025@getvfairs.io as soon as possible to cancel your registration.

Expenses
